| Cost: |
Adults - $30 for 1 division (double elimination) and an extra $10 for absolute (single elimination). The divisions will be No-Gi and will have beginner (1 year and under) and advanced (Over 1 year).
Children - $30 for 1 division (double elimination). The divisions will be No-Gi and will have beginner (no submissions - only points) and advanced (submissions and points)
Spectators - Free! |
Weight categories are split as follows:
| Men: |
62kg, 70kg, 80kg, 92kg and 125kg |
| Women: |
48kg, 55kg, 63kg and 72kg |
| Children: |
27kg and below, 27.1kg - 41kg, 41.1kg and over |

Matches will take place on three full size wrestling mats and will be conducted under the Fila World Grappling rules. Visit here for details:

This will be the first tournament run under the Fila rules in Canada!!

The C.A.W.A. is in the process of organizing the Canadian qualifier for the Fila World Grappling Championship that takes place in Sweden in December. This tournament is a great chance to gain experience under the Fila rules for those who plan to compete in the Fila Grappling Canadian Championships.
We have already had teams from Lethbridge, Edmonton, Red Deer, and many clubs in Calgary contact us and say they plan to compete. we are expecting a great turn out!
