The straight arm lock is one of the most popular submissions in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Submission Wrestling. It can be applied with numerous entries from a variety of different positions (ie: guard, mount, cross mount, rear mount, knee on belly etc.).

Since this is such a widely used and effective submission, it is about time you start learning the many ways to efficiently escape from it.
