The “Capital City” Championships tournament results from April 04, 2009

BDB Martial Arts competitors drove to Edmonton, AB April 04th for The “Capital City” Championships. With our team competing in everything from Gi grappling, submission wrestling, kickboxing and pankration we had a long day of fights starting at 12:00pm going till 9:00pm. Big thanks to Darcy McAllister and Brian Bird for staying to coach all the competitors throughout the day.

TEAM RESULTS:

SUBMISSION WRESTLING DIVISIONS:

1st place:

3rd place:

GI DIVISION:

• 1st place: Sheila Bird open weight female division
• 2nd place: Andrew Derry men’s division

PANKRATION:

• 2nd place: Josh Kitchen

KICKBOXING:

• Riley Reed and Jeremy Gallant fought in the kickboxing division for their very first tournament.
